It’s been just over 1 month since we left Moscow’s famed Red Square, site of the 2011 Spasskaya Tower and International Coffee Festival. I still find myself in a state of disbelief or maybe denial: did it all really happen?

The espresso machine wizards:

Giovani Fucili and Svetlana Titova of Nuova Simonelli for providing the amazing Aurelia espresso machines that were used throughout the event (and I might add, flawlessly serving great espresso to more than 10,000 people in 5 days).

We most all of all thank the team of Soyuz Coffee Roasting for executing such an astounding event, producing such great coffee and for daring to dream of a new specialty coffee culture in Russia.
